Materials and Prep
- Science-themed storybooks
- Writing materials (pencils, crayons, markers, etc.)
- Construction paper or blank paper
- Scissors
- Tape or glue
Before starting the lesson, make sure you have a selection of Science-themed storybooks and the necessary writing and craft materials ready.
Activities

Read a Science-themed storybook together. Encourage your child to listen carefully and ask questions about the story.

After reading, ask your child to draw their favorite part of the story on a piece of paper. Assist them in writing a sentence or a few words to describe their drawing.

Help your child cut out their drawing and sentence, then attach it to a larger piece of construction paper to create a mini book.

Repeat steps 1-3 with another Science-themed storybook, focusing on a different concept or topic.

Encourage your child to share their mini books with family members or friends, explaining what they learned from the stories.
