Objective
By the end of this lesson, you will be able to read and understand basic sentences related to Minecraft.
Materials and Prep
- Computer or tablet with Minecraft installed
- Printed Minecraft-themed flashcards (you can create your own or find printable ones online)
- Pencil and paper
Activities
-
Start by introducing the concept of reading Minecraft-related words. Show the flashcards one by one and ask the student to read the word aloud. Help them if needed.
-
Next, ask the student to write a sentence using one of the Minecraft-related words they just read. Encourage them to be creative and use their imagination.
-
Once the sentence is written, have the student read it aloud. You can also ask them to draw a picture to go along with their sentence.
-
Continue this activity with different flashcards, allowing the student to come up with more sentences and drawings.
-
Finally, ask the student to read their sentences and show their drawings to you. Provide positive feedback and praise their efforts.
