Activities
- Read a picture book about babies together. Discuss the different features and characteristics of babies.
- Create a chart together with two columns: "Needs" and "Characteristics". Brainstorm and write down the things babies need (e.g., food, sleep, love) and their characteristics (e.g., small, cute, fragile).
- Have the student draw a picture of a baby and label its needs and characteristics.
- Optional: Use baby dolls or stuffed animals to demonstrate how to take care of a baby. Discuss the importance of being gentle and caring.
