Activities
- Introduction: Show the toddler the acorns and ask if they know what they are. Explain that acorns come from oak trees and are food for animals like squirrels.
- Acorn Sorting: Have the toddler sort the acorns by size or color and place them in the small bowl or container.
- Acorn Hunt: Hide the acorns around the room or in a designated area. Encourage the toddler to find them and collect them in the bowl.
- Story Time: Read a picture book about squirrels or nature that mentions acorns. Discuss the pictures and ask questions about what the toddler sees.
- Art Activity: Give the toddler a piece of paper and crayons. Ask them to draw a picture of an acorn or their favorite animal that eats acorns.
