Materials and Prep

Activities
- Introduction: Show the pictures or toy cars to the student and ask them to name the different types of cars they see. Discuss their features and what makes them unique.
- Car Drawing: Provide the student with a large poster or chart paper and ask them to draw their favorite type of car. Encourage them to include details such as wheels, windows, and doors.
- Car Description: Ask the student to describe their drawing by using descriptive words. For example, "My car has four wheels and shiny red paint."
- Story Time: Read a story about cars to the student, such as "Richard Scarry's Cars and Trucks and Things That Go." Pause throughout the story to ask questions and engage in conversation about the different vehicles mentioned.
