Activities
- Choose a short passage or sentence that you would like to practice copying.
- Write the chosen passage or sentence neatly at the top of your paper.
- Read the passage or sentence out loud.
- Start copying the passage or sentence below the original, paying close attention to letter formation, spacing, and punctuation.
- Continue copying the passage or sentence until you have completed it.
- Review your copywork and make any necessary corrections.
- Repeat the process with a different passage or sentence if desired.
It can be a line from your favorite book, a famous quote, or a sentence you create yourself.
