Activities
- Start by playing Super Mario together. Take note of the different worlds and levels Mario explores.
- After playing, discuss the concept of maps. Explain that just like Mario explores different worlds, people explore different places in real life.
- Ask the student to draw a map of their own imaginary Super Mario world. Encourage them to include different terrains, landmarks, and obstacles.
- Research different real-world locations that are similar to the terrains in the Super Mario game. Discuss how these locations are similar or different from the game.
- Have the student locate these real-world locations on a map or globe, and mark them with stickers or labels.
