Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to understand the concept of history and its relevance to the study of transformers.

Materials and Prep

  • Transformers toys or pictures
  • Whiteboard or paper and markers
  • Access to a computer or tablet for research (optional)

Activities

  • Activity 1: Show and Tell
  • Show the student different Transformers toys or pictures. Discuss what they are and how they transform. Encourage the student to share their thoughts and observations about the toys.

  • Activity 2: Time Travel
  • Explain to the student that Transformers have a history and that history is the study of the past. Ask the student to imagine they are traveling back in time to the beginning of Transformers. Discuss what they might see and experience.

  • Activity 3: Timeline Creation
  • Using the whiteboard or paper, create a simple timeline with the student. Start with the earliest Transformers and progress to the present day. Discuss major events or changes in Transformers throughout history. Encourage the student to draw or write key points on the timeline.
