Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to make worm tea using materials from your worm farm.

Materials and Prep

  • A small container or bucket
  • A handful of worm castings from your worm farm
  • A watering can or spray bottle
  • Water

Before starting this lesson, make sure you have already set up a worm farm and have collected some worm castings.

Activities

  1. Collect a handful of worm castings from your worm farm.
  2. Fill the small container or bucket with water.
  3. Add the handful of worm castings to the water.
  4. Let the worm castings soak in the water for a few hours or overnight.
  5. Once the worm tea is ready, pour it into a watering can or spray bottle.
  6. Use the worm tea to water your plants or spray it on their leaves.

  • Worm tea is made by soaking worm castings in water.
