Objective
By the end of this lesson, you will be able to write a creative story using Legos as inspiration.
Materials and Prep
- Legos (various colors and sizes)
- Paper
- Pencils or crayons
- Imagination
Activities
-
Build a Lego creation of your choice. It can be anything you imagine!
-
Take a good look at your Lego creation and think about its story. What is happening in your Lego world? Who are the characters? What are they doing?
-
Write a story about your Lego creation. Start with an introduction, where you describe the setting and introduce the main characters. Then, write about the problem or conflict that arises in your Lego world. Finally, write a resolution where the problem is solved and the story comes to an end.
-
Illustrate your story by drawing pictures of your Lego creation and the key scenes from your story.
-
Share your story and illustrations with a family member or friend. You can even act out your story using your Lego creation!
