A Perfectly Purple Adventure!

Gather Your Purple Treasures (Materials):

Before we start, let's gather our special purple art supplies! Make sure you have your purple paints, paper, crayons, Play-Doh, tissue paper, yarn, glue, and something to protect your clothes (like a smock).

Activity 1: Purple Hunt!

Let's go on a purple hunt around the house! Can you find anything that is purple? Maybe a purple block? A purple shirt? A purple grape? Let's gather them (or point to them) and say "Purple!" together.

Activity 2: Purple Finger Painting Fun!

Time to get messy! Put a blob of purple paint onto a paper plate or piece of paper. Let's use our fingers to spread the paint around. How does it feel? Squishy? Smooth? We can make swirls, dots, or cover the whole paper in purple!
