Objective

Activities

  2. Descriptive Paragraph: Using the list of words and phrases from the brainstorming activity, instruct the student to write a descriptive paragraph about horses. Remind them to use vivid language, sensory details, and descriptive adjectives to paint a clear picture in the reader's mind.
  3. Peer Review: Once the student has completed their paragraph, have them exchange papers with a classmate or family member for peer review. Encourage the reviewer to provide constructive feedback on the clarity, organization, and overall effectiveness of the descriptive paragraph.
  4. Revision and Final Draft: Based on the feedback received, the student should revise their paragraph, making any necessary improvements or changes. Once they are satisfied with their final draft, have them neatly write or type it out.
  5. Sharing and Discussion: Give the student an opportunity to share their final paragraph with the class or family members. Encourage a discussion about the different approaches taken and the effectiveness of the descriptive language used.
