Activities

Start by discussing Minecraft with the student. Ask them what they enjoy about the game and what their favorite aspects are.

Introduce the Minecraft-themed book or story to the student. Show them the cover and read the title together.

Read the story aloud to the student, encouraging them to follow along with their finger. Pause occasionally to ask questions about the plot or characters.

After reading, ask the student to summarize the story in their own words. Discuss their favorite parts and any connections they made to the Minecraft game.

Give the student a piece of paper and ask them to draw a picture of their favorite scene from the story. Encourage them to include details and use colors.

Have the student write a sentence or two describing their drawing. Help them with spelling and encourage them to use descriptive words.
