Activities

  1. Introduce the topic of bugs by discussing what bugs are and why they are interesting. Ask the student if they have any favorite bugs.
  2. Read a bug-themed book together. Encourage the student to ask questions and make observations about the bugs mentioned in the book.
  3. Ask the student to choose a bug they find fascinating. Have them draw a picture of the bug and write a sentence or two describing what they learned about it.
  4. Create a bug word search puzzle. Write down bug-related words and have the student find them in the puzzle. This will help reinforce their reading skills and expand their bug vocabulary.
  5. Wrap up the lesson by discussing the bugs the student learned about and asking them to share any interesting facts they discovered.
