Objective

Materials and Prep

  • A Toy Story book or any book related to the movie
  • Pen or pencil
  • Blank paper

Activities

  1. Start by reading the Toy Story book together. Take turns reading pages or paragraphs aloud.
  2. After reading, ask questions to check comprehension. For example:
    • Who are the main characters in the story?
    • Where does the story take place?
    • What is the main problem or conflict in the story?
    • How is the problem resolved?
  3. Encourage the student to draw their favorite scene or character from the book on the blank paper.
  4. Discuss the drawing and ask the student to describe why they chose that particular scene or character.
