Preschool Grade Talking Points
- "Mushrooms are special plants that grow in different shapes and colors. They can be big or small, and some look like umbrellas while others look like cups."
- "Mushrooms are found in forests, parks, and even in our own backyards. They like to grow in damp and shady places."
- "Did you know that mushrooms are not plants? They are actually a type of fungus. Fungi help break down dead plants and trees, which is important for the environment."
- "Some mushrooms are safe to eat, but others can be poisonous. That's why we should never eat mushrooms we find without an adult's help."
- "When we draw or color mushrooms, we can use different colors to make them look bright and beautiful. We can also use our imagination to create new and unique mushrooms!"
