Objective
By the end of this lesson, the student will be able to demonstrate basic soccer skills and knowledge.
Materials and Prep

- Cones or markers to create boundaries
- Open space or backyard
No prior knowledge or preparation is required for this lesson.
Activities

Warm-up: Start with a light jog around the designated area to get the body warmed up. Encourage the student to stretch their muscles gently before moving on to the next activity.

Passing and Receiving: Set up two cones a short distance apart to create a target area. Have the student practice passing the ball to a partner and receiving it back. Emphasize using the inside of the foot for passing and controlling the ball.

Dribbling: Create a small obstacle course using cones or markers. Have the student dribble the ball around the course, using both feet and changing direction. Encourage them to keep the ball close to their feet and maintain control.

Shooting: Set up a goal or target area using cones or markers. Have the student practice shooting the ball towards the goal from different distances. Teach them to aim and use proper technique, such as striking the ball with the laces of their shoe.

Cool-down: End the lesson with a light jog or walk to gradually lower the heart rate. Encourage the student to stretch their muscles again, focusing on the areas used during the activities.
