Activities

- Choosing and Planting: Help the student choose the type of plant they would like to grow. Guide them in selecting the appropriate seeds or seedlings and demonstrate the process of planting in pots or containers.
- Caring for the Plants: Teach the student how to water the plants properly, ensuring they understand the importance of not overwatering or underwatering. Discuss the role of sunlight and the need for regular maintenance, such as removing weeds and pests.
- Observation and Journaling: Encourage the student to observe the growth of their plants regularly. Have them keep a gardening journal to record their observations, including measurements, changes in appearance, and any challenges they encounter.
- Harvesting and Enjoying: Once the plants have grown and are ready for harvest, guide the student in harvesting their produce. Discuss the satisfaction of enjoying the fruits of their labor and the importance of sustainable practices.
