No prior knowledge is required for this lesson, as you already have experience with playing the guitar.
Activities
- Warm-up exercises (5 minutes): Start by stretching your fingers and wrists to loosen up. Then, practice playing scales up and down the fretboard to warm up your fingers.
- Review chords (10 minutes): Choose a few chords that you are familiar with and review them. Play each chord slowly and make sure you have a clean sound. Practice transitioning between chords smoothly.
- Learn a new song (10 minutes): Select a song that you would like to learn and find the chord progression for it. Break down the song into smaller sections and practice each section slowly, gradually increasing the speed as you become more comfortable.
- Improvisation (5 minutes): Take some time to experiment with improvisation. Play around with different chord progressions and create your own melodies. This will help you develop your creativity and musicality.
