Activities

- Brainstorm a new adventure for Lockie.

- Share and discuss the stories.
Discuss the main character, Lockie Leonard, and his personality traits. Talk about his strengths, weaknesses, and how he handles different situations.
Encourage the student to come up with a unique and exciting situation for Lockie to face. Discuss the setting, conflict, and possible resolution of the story.
Using the brainstormed ideas, have the student write a short story about Lockie's new adventure. Remind them to include descriptive language, dialogue, and a clear beginning, middle, and end.
