Activities

After reading, ask the student to identify the different locations mentioned in the book.

Using a world map or globe, locate the places mentioned in the book and mark them with a pen.

Discuss the geographical characteristics of each location with the student. For example, if a location is near the coast, talk about its proximity to the ocean and how it might affect the climate or lifestyle of the people living there.

Ask the student to write a short paragraph describing one of the locations mentioned in the book, including its geographical features and how they might impact the people living there.
