Activities

  1. Create a Maze: Draw a simple maze on a piece of paper. Make sure there is a clear starting point and an endpoint. You can make the maze as easy or challenging as you like.
  2. Read the Instructions: Write down step-by-step instructions on how to navigate through the maze. Use simple language and include words like "go straight," "turn left," and "turn right."
  3. Follow the Instructions: Give the maze and instructions to your student. Encourage them to read the instructions carefully and follow them to complete the maze. Offer guidance if needed.
  4. Reflect and Discuss: After completing the maze, ask your student how they felt following the instructions. Did they find it easy or challenging? Did they make any mistakes? Discuss the importance of reading and following directions accurately.
