Read a unicorn picture book together.
Choose a unicorn picture book that interests you. Read it aloud to your child, pointing out different elements of the story and the unicorn character. Encourage your child to ask questions and make observations.

Create a unicorn drawing.
Give your child a whiteboard or large paper and some markers or crayons. Ask them to draw their own unicorn based on what they learned from the book. Encourage them to use their imagination and be creative. Once they finish, ask them to describe their unicorn and its features.

Write a unicorn story together.
Sit down with your child and ask them to dictate a short story about their unicorn. Write down their words on a separate piece of paper or on the whiteboard. Encourage them to use descriptive words and create a beginning, middle, and end for their story. Read the story aloud together once it's complete.
