Read an autumn-themed book together.
Choose a book that focuses on autumn and its characteristics. Read aloud to your student, pointing out and discussing autumn-related words and concepts.

Identify autumn words with flashcards.
Show your student flashcards with words related to autumn, such as "leaves," "pumpkin," "apple," and "sweater." Ask your student to identify and say each word out loud.

Write and illustrate an autumn word.
Choose one of the autumn words discussed earlier and have your student write it on a piece of paper. Encourage them to draw a picture that represents the word as well.
