Objective

Activities

  2. Create a Viking Timeline: Using the gathered information, have the student create a timeline of significant events in Viking history. They can draw or write about key moments such as the Viking Age, exploration of new lands, battles, or important Viking figures.

  3. Design a Viking Artifact: Ask the student to imagine they are a Viking craftsman and design their own Viking artifact. They can sketch and label their creation, explaining its purpose and significance in Viking society.

  4. Write a Viking Saga: Challenge the student to write a short story or poem inspired by Viking sagas. They should incorporate elements such as heroic deeds, mythical creatures, and the Viking way of life. Encourage creativity and storytelling skills.
