By the end of this lesson, you will be able to understand the logic behind air and atmosphere in Earth Science.

Activities

  1. Activity 1: Air Around Us

    Step 1: Look around your immediate surroundings and observe the presence of air.

    Step 2: Write down at least three things that demonstrate the existence of air.

    Step 3: Share your observations with a family member or friend.

  2. Activity 2: Air Pressure

    Step 1: Take a balloon and inflate it.

    Step 2: Observe what happens when you release the balloon without tying it.

    Step 3: Write down your observations and explain why you think it happened.

  3. Activity 3: Air Composition

    Step 1: Research the composition of air and its different components (such as nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide, etc.).

    Step 2: Create a simple chart or diagram to represent the percentage of each component in the atmosphere.

    Step 3: Share your findings with someone and discuss the importance of each component in our daily lives.
