Objective

By the end of this lesson, the student will be able to write a persuasive letter applying for a job at a flooring company, showcasing their skills and qualifications.

Activities

  1. Research and gather information about the flooring industry. Learn about different types of flooring, installation techniques, and the skills required for working in this field.

  2. Brainstorm and make a list of your own skills, experiences, and qualifications that make you a suitable candidate for a job at a flooring company.

  3. Write a persuasive letter applying for a job at a flooring company. Use the information gathered in the research and the list of skills to highlight why you would be a valuable addition to their team.

  4. Revise and edit your letter for clarity, coherence, and grammar. Make sure your points are well-organized and supported with evidence.

  5. Proofread your final draft for any spelling or punctuation errors.
