Materials and Prep
- Circle stickers
- Tape
No prior knowledge or preparation is required for this lesson.
Activities
- Sticker Sort: Give the toddler a variety of circle stickers and ask them to sort them by size, color, or any other attribute they can think of. Encourage them to use English words to describe the stickers as they sort.
- Sticker Story: Provide the toddler with a blank piece of paper and have them create a picture using the circle stickers. Once they are done, ask them to tell a story about their picture using complete sentences. Help them with grammar and sentence structure as needed.
- Tape Maze: Create a simple maze using tape on the floor or a table. Guide the toddler through the maze using English commands like "go straight," "turn left," or "go over the tape." This activity helps reinforce understanding of prepositions and directional words.
