Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to read and comprehend a Minecraft-themed story, and answer questions about the story.

• Minecraft-themed storybook
• Paper and pencil

Activities

1. Introduce the Minecraft-themed storybook to the student.

Show the student the cover of the book and ask them to make predictions about what the story might be about based on the title and the cover illustration.

2. Read the story aloud to the student.

Read the story with enthusiasm and expression, pausing occasionally to ask the student comprehension questions or to discuss interesting parts of the story.

3. Ask the student comprehension questions.

After reading the story, ask the student questions about the characters, events, and main ideas of the story. Encourage the student to provide detailed answers using complete sentences.

4. Have the student draw a picture or write a short summary.

Ask the student to either draw a picture illustrating their favorite part of the story or write a short summary of the story using their own words. This will help reinforce their understanding of the story and encourage creativity.
