No prior knowledge or preparation is required.

Activities

  1. Word Hunt: Look around your house or outside for objects related to worms. Write down the names of these objects. For example, you may find a picture of a worm, a book about worms, or even a toy worm. Practice spelling these words.

  2. Worm Word Scramble: Create a word scramble puzzle using words related to worms. Write the scrambled words on a piece of paper and ask a family member to unscramble them. Then, switch roles and unscramble the words they create.

  3. Worm Story: Write a short story about a worm. Include as many worm-related words as you can. Read the story aloud to a family member or even a pet. Make sure to spell the words correctly as you write.
