Activities

  1. Warm-up: Start with a 5-minute stretching routine to prepare the body for running.
  2. Introduction to Running: Discuss the benefits of running for health and physical fitness. Talk about how running helps strengthen muscles, improves cardiovascular health, and boosts endurance.
  3. Running Drills: Teach proper running form and technique. Practice running in place, high knees, and butt kicks to improve running efficiency.
  4. Running Challenge: Set up a mini obstacle course or mark a distance for the student to run. Time the student and encourage them to beat their own record each time.
  5. Cool-down: Finish the lesson with a 5-minute cool-down routine, including gentle stretches to prevent muscle soreness.
