By the end of this lesson, you will be able to create your own pumpkin patch artwork using basic art materials.
Materials and Prep
- Orange construction paper
- Green construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- Black marker
- Pencil
Make sure you have a clear workspace and gather all the materials before starting the lesson.
Activities
- Draw and cut out a large pumpkin shape from the orange construction paper.
- Draw and cut out a stem shape from the green construction paper.
- Glue the stem to the top of the pumpkin shape.
- Use the black marker to draw a face on the pumpkin. You can make it happy, silly, or scary - it's up to you!
- Draw and cut out smaller pumpkin shapes from the orange construction paper.
- Glue the smaller pumpkin shapes around the large pumpkin to create a pumpkin patch.
