Activities
- Word Search: Create a word search puzzle using dog-related vocabulary words such as "puppy," "leash," "woof," "bone," "fetch," etc. Have the student find and circle the words in the puzzle. After completing the word search, have the student write each word neatly on a separate piece of paper.
- Spelling Bee: Give the student a list of dog-related vocabulary words and have them spell each word aloud. Provide assistance and corrections as needed.
- Sentence Writing: Ask the student to choose five dog-related vocabulary words from the word search or spelling bee activity and write a sentence for each word. Encourage the use of descriptive and creative sentences.
