Take turns flipping two cards and trying to find a match. If a match is found, read the saying aloud in Spanish and its translation in English. Continue until all matches are found.
Activity 2: Create Your Own Funny Saying
Encourage the student to come up with their own funny saying in Spanish. Provide them with a list of vocabulary words and sentence structures they can use. Once they have created their saying, have them share it with you and explain its meaning.
Activity 3: Funny Saying Charades
Write down different funny sayings on small pieces of paper. Fold them and place them in a hat or bowl. Take turns picking a saying and acting it out without speaking. The other person has to guess the saying in Spanish. Switch roles after each guess.
