Activities

  1. Research a dog breed:

Ask the student to choose a specific dog breed they are interested in. Encourage them to use books or reliable websites to gather information about the breed's characteristics, history, and any interesting facts. Have them write a short paragraph summarizing their findings.

  2. Reading comprehension practice:

Provide the student with a short passage or article related to dogs. Ask them to read it carefully and then answer a set of comprehension questions. Discuss their answers together and provide feedback on their understanding of the text.

  3. Create a dog-themed story:

Ask the student to use their imagination and create an original story with dogs as the main characters. They can include elements such as adventure, friendship, or problem-solving. Encourage them to use descriptive language and create a captivating plot. Once they finish writing, have them read their story aloud or share it with someone else.
