Activities

2. Brainstorming and Sketching

Using the markers or paint, help the student transfer their design onto the blank skateboard deck. They can outline the design first and then fill it in with colors and details.

4. Finishing Touches

Once the design is complete, instruct the student to apply a clear sealant or varnish to protect the artwork and give it a glossy finish. Allow it to dry completely.

5. Show and Tell

Have the student showcase their finished skateboard deck to family members or friends. Encourage them to explain the inspiration behind their design and the techniques they used to create it.
