Materials and Prep

  • Pen or pencil
  • Plain paper or notebook
  • Computer or tablet with internet access (optional)

Prior knowledge of the Five Nights at Freddy's game or story is recommended, but not required.

Activities

  1. Brainstorming: Have the student brainstorm ideas for their short story based on the Five Nights at Freddy's theme. Encourage them to think about characters, setting, and plot.
  2. Outline: Instruct the student to create an outline for their story. This can include a brief summary of the beginning, middle, and end, as well as key events or plot twists.
  3. Writing: Have the student write their short story based on the outline. Encourage them to use descriptive language, dialogue, and suspenseful elements to engage the reader.
  4. Revision: Once the story is complete, ask the student to revise and edit their work. They should check for spelling and grammar errors, as well as improve sentence structure and clarity.
  5. Sharing: Provide an opportunity for the student to share their story with others. This can be done by reading it aloud or creating a digital version to share online.
