- Legos (various sizes and colors)
- Number flashcards (0-10)
- Counting chart (0-20)
- Pencil and paper
Before starting the lesson, make sure you are familiar with basic addition and subtraction concepts.
Activities

Counting with Legos:
Use the counting chart and Legos to practice counting from 0 to 20. Place the corresponding number of Legos on each number on the chart.

Building Addition Towers:
Choose two number flashcards and build two towers with the corresponding number of Legos. Then, combine the towers and count the total number of Legos.

Subtraction Challenge:
Build a tower with a certain number of Legos. Remove some Legos and ask your student to count how many are left. Repeat with different numbers.
