Objective

By the end of this lesson, the toddler will be able to identify and name different types of cars and understand basic concepts related to cars.

Materials and Prep

  • Toy cars (variety of types)
  • Picture books about cars
  • Markers or crayons
  • Blank paper

Activities

  1. Car Sorting: Show the toddler different types of toy cars and ask them to sort them into groups based on similarities (e.g., color, size, shape).
  2. Car Coloring: Provide the toddler with blank paper and markers or crayons. Encourage them to draw and color their favorite car.
  3. Car Book Reading: Read a picture book about cars to the toddler, pointing out different types of cars and discussing their features.
