Objective

Materials and Prep

  • Puzzle sheets with arithmetic problems (addition, subtraction, or counting)
  • Pencil or crayon

Activities

  1. Introduce the concept of puzzles and explain that they are fun games that require thinking and problem-solving.
  2. Show the toddler a sample puzzle sheet and explain the rules.
  3. Guide the toddler to solve the puzzles by counting, adding, or subtracting the objects shown.
  4. Encourage the toddler to use the pencil or crayon to mark the correct answers.
  5. Repeat the process with different puzzle sheets, gradually increasing the difficulty level.
  6. Provide positive reinforcement and praise for their efforts and achievements.
