Materials and Prep

• Blippi videos or episodes related to environmental science topics
• Pen and paper for drawing

Prior knowledge needed: Familiarity with Blippi and basic understanding of the natural world.

Activities

1. Watch a Blippi video on environmental science topics, such as recycling or animal habitats.
2. Discuss the video and ask questions to check understanding.
3. Encourage the student to draw a picture of their favorite part of the video, emphasizing the environmental science concept.
4. Go on a nature walk in your backyard or a nearby park. Observe and discuss the plants, animals, and natural elements you encounter.
5. Create a mini recycling center at home. Help the student sort different materials like paper, plastic, and glass into separate containers.
