Activities

  1. Research: Begin by researching famous artists who were inspired by science. Choose one artist and find examples of their artwork.
  2. Artwork Analysis: Select one artwork by the artist you researched. Analyze the artwork by answering the following questions:
    • What elements of science can you identify in the artwork?
    • How do you think the artist incorporated scientific concepts into their artwork?
    • What emotions or messages do you think the artwork conveys?
  3. Create Your Own Artwork: Using your knowledge of science and the inspiration from the artist you researched, create your own artwork that incorporates scientific elements. You can use any art medium you prefer.
  4. Reflect and Discuss: Share your artwork with a family member or friend. Discuss the scientific concepts you included and the emotions or messages you aimed to convey.
