Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to create stick wildling art using only natural materials.

Materials and Prep

  • Assorted sticks and twigs
  • Leaves, flowers, and other natural materials
  • String or twine
  • Scissors
  • A clear workspace

Before starting the lesson, make sure you have gathered all the necessary materials and set up a clean workspace.

Activities

  1. Go on a nature walk to collect sticks, twigs, leaves, flowers, and any other interesting natural materials you can find.
  2. Sort and organize your collection of natural materials.
  3. Think about what kind of wildling creature or design you want to create using the sticks as the base.
  4. Start building your stick wildling by arranging the sticks into the desired shape and securing them together with string or twine.
  5. Add the natural materials to decorate and bring your stick wildling to life.
  6. Once you are satisfied with your creation, take a step back and admire your stick wildling art!
