Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to understand how fish senses are adaptations that help them survive in their environment.

Materials and Prep

• Pen and paper
• Access to the internet or books about fish
• Optional: Pictures or videos of different fish species

Activities

1. Research different types of fish and their senses. Write down at least three different fish species and describe how their senses help them survive.

2. Create a poster or presentation about one fish species and its sensory adaptations. Include pictures and descriptions of how each sense helps the fish in its environment.

3. Present your poster or presentation to a family member or friend, explaining the different senses and adaptations of the chosen fish species.
