Activities
-
Introduction to the Law of Attraction
Explain to the student that the Law of Attraction is the belief that positive thoughts and feelings can attract positive experiences and outcomes in our lives. Give examples of positive thoughts and how they can impact our well-being.
-
Creating a Vision Board
Ask the student to think about their goals and dreams. Provide magazines, catalogs, or printed images for the student to cut out pictures that represent their desires. Help them glue these pictures on the whiteboard or large paper to create a vision board.
-
Positive Affirmations
Teach the student about positive affirmations. Explain that these are positive statements that we repeat to ourselves to help us feel good and attract positive things. Help the student come up with simple affirmations, such as "I am strong" or "I am kind," and encourage them to say these affirmations throughout the day.
-
Visualization Exercise
Guide the student through a visualization exercise. Ask them to close their eyes and imagine themselves achieving one of their goals or dreams. Encourage them to use their senses and imagine how they would feel, what they would see, and what they would hear in that moment.
-
Reflection and Discussion
After the visualization exercise, have a discussion with the student about their experience. Ask them how they felt during the exercise and if they noticed any changes in their thoughts or feelings. Emphasize the importance of positive thinking and how it can contribute to their overall well-being.
