Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will understand the basic concept of the Law of Attraction and how it relates to practical arts.

Materials and Prep

  • Paper
  • Coloring materials (crayons, markers, colored pencils)
  • Scissors
  • Glue stick
  • Magazines or printed images

Before starting the lesson, it would be helpful to have a discussion with the student about their understanding of the Law of Attraction.

Activities

  1. Introduce the concept of the Law of Attraction by explaining that it is the belief that positive or negative thoughts can bring positive or negative experiences into our lives.

  2. Ask the student to think of something they would like to attract into their life, such as a new toy or a fun activity.

  3. Provide the student with paper and coloring materials. Instruct them to draw a picture of the thing they would like to attract.

  4. Next, ask the student to find images from magazines or printed materials that represent their desired outcome. They can cut out these images or tear them out if preferred.

  5. Using the glue stick, have the student glue the images onto their drawing or create a collage with the images and their drawing.

  6. Encourage the student to display their artwork in a place where they can see it every day, reminding them of their desired outcome and the power of positive thinking.
