Introduce the concept of mindfulness and explain that it is about paying attention to the present moment without judgment.
Engage the student in a guided mindfulness activity. Instruct them to sit quietly, close their eyes, and focus on their breathing. Encourage them to notice any thoughts or feelings that arise without getting caught up in them.
After the activity, have a discussion about their experience. Ask the student how they felt during the mindfulness exercise and if they noticed any changes in their body or mind.
