Objective

Activities

  • Activity 1: Introduction to Reiki

    Begin by explaining to the student what Reiki is - a Japanese healing technique that uses energy to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and enhance overall well-being.

    Discuss the basic principles of Reiki, such as the belief in the flow of life force energy and the importance of balance.

  • Activity 2: Reiki Hand Positions

    Show the student different Reiki hand positions, such as placing hands on the head, heart, stomach, and other parts of the body.

    Encourage the student to practice these hand positions on themselves or a stuffed animal, imagining the flow of healing energy.

  • Activity 3: Reiki for Plants or Pets

    Explain to the student that Reiki can also be used to help plants and animals.

    Encourage the student to find a plant or pet to practice Reiki on, gently placing their hands near the subject and imagining healing energy flowing into it.
