Materials and Prep
Materials needed:
- White paper
- Colorful markers or crayons
- Scissors
- Glue
Preparation:
- Prepare the materials on a table or workspace.
- Discuss the concept of gratitude with the student before starting the lesson.
Activities
1. Draw and Color: Have the student draw and color pictures of things they are grateful for on the white paper.
2. Cut and Paste: Help the student cut out their drawings and paste them onto a separate piece of paper to create a gratitude collage.

- "Gratitude means being thankful for the good things in our lives. What are some things that make you happy?"
- "When we draw and color things we are grateful for, it helps us remember to be thankful. Can you draw a picture of something that makes you feel happy?"
