First Grade Talking Points
- Water is very important for plants and animals to live. Just like we need water to drink, plants and animals also need water to survive. Without water, they would not be able to grow or stay healthy.
- When we give water to a plant, it drinks it up through its roots, just like we drink water through our mouths. This helps the plant grow big and strong.
- Fish live in water. Water is like their home. It helps them breathe and swim. Without water, fish would not be able to survive.
